Our Departments
As you’d expect from a company like Northgate, there are a huge variety of parts to play, across a number of different departments.
Right now, we employ around 2,000 permanent staff. Most of them are based on the front line in our national network of depots, and the rest are involved with delivering fantastic sales and marketing activities and a wide range of other support functions.
Ultimately, our challenge is to make sure our fleet vehicles are well maintained, which involves everything from checking tax and insurance to checking oil levels.
And with thousands of vehicles (and the customers who hire them, plus the staff who manage them) to look after, it’s one of the biggest challenges we’ll face in our entire careers!
