Based at our head offices in Darlington, you'll be working within our busy safety and environment department. As the Central Safety and Environment Co-ordinator you will efficiently support operational personnel and be responsible for overseeing safety and environment compliance and processes within the two head office sites. In addition you will liaise with and maintain working effective relationships with your co-workers, senior colleagues and external customers and suppliers.

Experience of working in a safety and environment administrative role is desirable. You will have achieved the NEBOSH General Certificate or will be currently working towards this. The ability to be able to communicate effectively and deal with high volumes of information is essential. You will be proficient on Microsoft Office packages especially Excel. You will have strong communication and organization skills.

This role is to cover maternity leave and is for a eight month fixed term period.
