Production Manager - NVS

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Production Manager to ensure all Northgate Vehicles Sales policies and procedures are carried out effectively. Understanding the importance of Health & Safety on site will be paramount for this role as will an ability to ensure this is maintained to uphold a strong H&S; culture in the business.

You'll be responsible for accurate appraisal and creation of estimates according to vehicle condition and developing and maintaining a healthy working environment to support the delivery of excellent customer service.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Management of production administrator and co-ordination of duties.
• Effective time management.
• Effectively communicate with all Senior Management and Northgate personnel.
• Management of defleets and reporting.
• Management of all vehicle movement.
• Management of internal systems and processes.
• Control of costs pertaining to re condition of vehicles.
• Control of quality and timely vehicle preparation within bodyshops.
• Effectively liaise with both internal and external bodyshops and workshops.
• Consistently create good relationships with all suppliers.
• Identification of and ability to resolve problems.
• Compliance with all Health, Safety & Environment Policies.

Skills & Experience:

• Ability to perform in a pressurised environment.
• Team player with the ability to adapt to change.
• Good supervisory and administration skills
• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
• Self motivated and commercially driven
• Ability to communicate at all levels across all domains
• Previous experience of working within the motor trade desirable.
