Development is currently done in house by a small team, so this role offers the potential for you to quickly make your mark and influence future development. As an BI Developer, you will be required to provide accurate technical analytical models to the business, Solving business problems by writing SQL queries, designing and building OLAP (online analytical processing) cubes, applying data mining algorithms and designing reports.

You will be required to support and maintain the organisations growing data warehouse, managing nightly job data processing tasks, troubleshooting and rectifying any production related issues. An addition a key part to role will be to monitor BI solutions for performance issues.

It is essential candidates will have expertise within the following areas:

• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server Stack - DBE, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
• A good understanding of Dimensional Modelling
• A good understanding of database architecture and database design
• Ability to collaborate on a team with infrastructure, development and business analyst resources, and clearly communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical team members
