Workshop Manager

As a Manager you will run the workshop and manage the workshop team. You'll make sure that everyone in the workshop has what they need to work as effectively and efficiently as possible. It means promoting a thorough Health and Safety culture, checking work against internal and external standards and leading, motivating and inspiring your team to perform at their best.

Day to day, you'll stay in touch with various departments to ensure that your team can meet their requirements. And you'll keep a close eye on key business targets when it comes to maximising warranty claims.

A qualified, time-served mechanic, you'll have previous experience of leading staff in a vehicle workshop. You'll also have City and Guilds Level 1, 2, and 3 or equivalent qualifications and ideally a BSC Health and Safety Level 2 qualification. A full driving licence, excellent IT skills and a confident and flexible approach are all just as important.
