We are looking to recruit an Area Sales Executive based at our Leeds hub to take ownership of customer account management within a geographical territory and who is comfortable dealing at all levels of the customer hierarchy. Your key responsibility will be to ensure the customer retention activity is followed with a view to increasing the profitability of each account. A high number of canvassing calls will be required to generate, qualify and develop new and existing accounts for the business.

The position is office based with a key focus on managing the customer contact strategy via telephone and you will work closely with Sales Management to achieve targets in line with company objectives.

  • Experience of working in a sales environment is advantageous
  • Experience of making high levels of outbound calls
  • Excellent oral and communication skills
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation ability
  • Highly motivated and ability to work as part of a dynamic sales team

  • Self-motivated, career minded and committed to hitting deadlines
  • First class relationship building skills, both internally and externally
  • Ability to provide clear and concise reporting
  • Assertiveness, resilience, persistence and a tenacious attitude
  • IT literate to include Excel and Outlook
  • A driving license is essential
