We are looking to recruit a HR Support Team leader based at our Darlington head office site. The focus of the role is to provide day to day line management to the HR Support Team and to ensure the provision of efficient and effective HR Support, advice and administration to the UK business.
You will oversee and provide first line HR support to employees and Managers and ensure more complex issues are escalated to the Regional HR Managers. You will be involved in monthly HR Reporting and provide administrative support to the Head of HR and HR Director. You will play a key role in ensuring the recruitment process, the employee induction and probationary review process are adhered to and support investigations for disciplinary and grievance procedures. You will also have the opportunity to assist in the development of HR Policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have previous line management responsibility and have ideally previously worked in a centralised HR function. You will be able to demonstrate HR administration experience and have a good understanding of HR policies, best practice and employment law. A recognised HR qualification is desirable.
