We are looking to recruit a Safety and Environment Advisor based out of our Nottingham depot supporting the business across Yorkshire, East Midlands and East Anglia. The focus of the role will be to provide health, safety and environmental support to the operational locations and personnel within your area. You will ensure business compliance with both legal and industry requirements and standards through building effective relationships and understanding the needs of the business.

NEBOSH General Certificate qualified and with post qualification experience you will come from a multi-sited commercial environment and have a background of providing SHE support in a customer facing operation. You will have a consultative style, be pro-active and have strong relationship building and excellent communication skills. You will also have excellent administrative skills and be IT literate.

Skills and Experience required:

  • NEBOSH general certificate essential
  • Previous experience of working within a safety and environment role is essential
  • Full driving licence essential
  • NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Health & Safety or NEBOSH diploma in Occupational Health & Safety desirable
  • NEBOSH or IEMA environmental qualification desirable
  • Experience of working within a multi sited commercial operation
  • Experience of working within a customer focused environment
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT literate
